I am an aspiring author.
I am passionate about sci-fi, and most of my stories are in that genre, however I experiment with other genres too.
I am posting my stories here to get feedback on my work, as well as to create a portfolio.
Some of my favourite authors are Heinlein (Starship Troopers, the movie is exceptionally good as well as the novel) , Graham McNeil (The Uriel Ventris series of Warhammer 40K novels, I am a big Warhammer fan!) and Orwell (1984).
I also enjoy military history and classic literature (Dantes Inferno is an incredible piece of writing).
My favourite movie is the Matrix and my favourite TV show is Star Trek: The Next Generation. Voyager and DS9 are a close second. I also enjoyed Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis.
Reading was my favourite hobby until I discovered computer gaming, and ever since then it has been my primary focus. I have a degree in game development, and my time is mostly spend in the video game industry, mostly working on indie projects.
My favourite computer game is the Witcher 3. Some of my othe favourites are the original XCOM (Called UFO:Enemy Unknown in Europe), and the original Tomb Raider and Rome: Total War.
In the last few years, I have started reading and writing again, and I am really enjoying the process, which led me to create this space.
My goal, and my passion, is to to try, in my own small way, to write the stories that I have always loved reading.
Writing is a beautiful and powerful ability, where entire worlds can be created and explored.
I believe that the most important thing in writing, especially for Sci-Fi and Fantasy authors, is the ability to immerse the reader in this world.
The reader needs to feel that they are there, taking part in the adventure.
My goal, eventually, is to gain the ability to create these new worlds, and to share them with others.
